Knight Story (first experience)
Hello, my nickname is Kuro and today i tell you about mobile game Knight Story.
I noticed the game on Twitter a few months before the official launch and was looking forward to it.
To start, I’ll tell you a “small” tutorial on this game.
The game has 5 tabs:
- Shop
- Pet
- Battle
- Map
- Village
In the shop sells craft materials that can be purchased for water or beans, as well as a tab with paid resources (beans and MyKl tickets) and a tab where you can buy water for beans. In a nutshell I will say what is water, beans and MyKl tickets.
Water is the most demanded resource in the game, it is necessary to improve weapons and equipment, purchase pets, materials in the store, as well as to increase the level of your heroes and pump some buildings in the village.
In the tab “Pet” we get pets for each of the heroes who give stats.
In the Battle tab, the main action of the game takes place — the heroes fight against enemies. For passing the stages we are given experience and water, the more stages — the more water. Also, for passing a certain number of stages we will be given an extra reward (water or beans).
On the Map tab, we can choose the location for the battle. Each location has a greater chance of a drop in a certain category (diamonds, wood, metals, etc.). Also there are missions (a reward for a certain number of completed stages), as well as a book that includes all existing weapons, equipment and pets.
And finally there is a village. On it you can build buildings from your materials, as well as improve them. Improvement requires 3 buildings of the same level. There are also special buildings that improve for water and beans. This is Phoenix Nest and Pet House. Pet House improves for water and provides gray quality materials for pets placed in it, regardless of the quality of the pets themselves. Phoenix Nest in turn improves over beans and gives us an egg after a while. And other examples of buildings are the Archer / Mage / Swordsman House, which gives an attack to the hero, a mine that gives metal and an altar that gives water.
After our “small” tutorial, let’s highlight the main pros and cons of the game. Pluses — a convenient interface, easy to understand the mechanics of the game (figured out in 10 minutes), and it does not require much time to spend in the game (if only at the very beginning). Cons — it is only one, but VERY important and this is a trade in weapons and equipment. It happens “offline” — you buy MyKl ticket, with the help of it you send the thing to the site opensea.io, and only then you sell it. This is not very convenient, like an in-game exchange, because you need to first attach the wallet, and then already take a lot of actions to put the thing on the site for sale. And even if you exhibit your item, the chance that it will be bought at an adequate price is extremely small — a lot of supply and little demand.
What I would like to download in the end, please enter the in-game exchange, as well as the ability to sell materials (they are very lacking for crafting). I am also waiting for the upcoming update after the New Year — the Boss.
